The works included the supply & installation of fire, compressed air, process, floc and raw water lines, including associated civil and concrete works. Thiess engaged JP Piping Systems from late 2013 to early 2014, to undertake piping works for the following facilities at the Caval Ridge Mine Site. 1/ Installation of Heavy Vehicle Wash Station, 2/ Installation of the Light Vehicle Wash Station, & 3/ HV/LV Refuelling Stations. Material & equipment was supplied by the Client for acceptance & installation by the Contractor. Through astute management and knowledge of the scope of works, JP Piping Systems was able to identify potential problems, propose efficient ways of completing works and manage any issues before they arose. Their expertise in piping construction and their willingness to make sure all works were completed correctly, on time and in a safe manor was invaluable. JP Piping demonstrated and committed to a Safety Culture aligned with Thiess’ values. Their safety performance on site was recognised at a Company level with the receipt of our Safety Award as well as individual performances at daily prestarts. Based on their performance on the above project, I would not hesitate to recommend them for future work of this nature.

JP Piping Systems provided mechanical and civil services as part of an upgrade to a coal seam gas water treatment facility in southern Queensland. Working as a sub-contractor to Pall Australia, JP Piping Systems were able to deliver their scope of works on time and within budget despite client driven scope changes, tight schedule constraints, difficult logistics associated with a very remote site, and coordinating works around an operating plant. Joe, Marcus and their team were very accommodating despite these difficult circumstances and their efforts were duly recognised at the conclusion of the project by our client and the Pall Australia construction and commissioning team.
